Disegni Domestici is a collection of paintings from the unexpected “new normality” caused by the first Italian lockdown, March and April 2020. Imaginative evasions, memories of a frozen past, and a new gaze towards ordinary objects were the responses to the social and physical containment. Layers and images that come back from a period as unique and singular as destined to become part of a strange new normality.
